Last Christmas, the Victoria Beckham Beauty team commissioned me to handwrite a set of luxury notecards to be sent to their special guests, as a personal touch from Victoria Beckham herself. The project required recreating her unique handwriting style under a tight holiday deadline.

To capture Victoria Beckham’s distinctive script, I began by thoroughly researching examples of her handwriting online, paying close attention to every nuance and detail. From this, I developed a custom alphabet inspired by her style, which I refined through six rounds of drafting before finalising the notecard template.

The challenge was to balance authenticity with legibility and elegance, ensuring each notecard looked personal yet luxurious. Despite their modest size, these handwritten notes represented many hours of meticulous work, with every card carefully penned by hand to meet the high standards of the brand.

The finished notecards delivered a beautifully personal experience, reflecting the luxury and attention to detail synonymous with Victoria Beckham Beauty. This project was a highlight of 2024, showcasing my ability to craft bespoke scripts and bring unique brand stories to life through calligraphy.
