In May, luxury fragrance brand NEST New York hosted an enchanting celebration at the iconic Kensington Palace in London to unveil their VOYAGES by NEST Perfume Bottle Collection. The event was graced by renowned guests including fashion photographer Nick Knight, model Adot Gak, singer Pixie Geldof, and Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath. With such an elegant setting and high-profile attendees, every detail of the event needed to reflect the brand’s refined and modern identity.
I was commissioned to create two key calligraphy elements for the event: bespoke thank you cards and custom place cards. For the thank you cards, I used my signature handwriting script on luxurious stationery, adding a warm and personal touch for NEST’s VIP guests. To complement these, I sourced elegant ivory card stock for the place cards and applied a modern variation of my calligraphy script, strong yet refined, to match both the brand’s aesthetic and the grandeur of the venue. To ensure everything ran smoothly, I was also on-site at Kensington Palace on the day of the event to handle any last-minute changes and final touches.
The final pieces blended effortlessly into the beautifully styled environment of The Orangery at Kensington Palace. With the sun illuminating the exquisite VOYAGES bottles and a setting that exuded quiet luxury, the calligraphy elements added a layer of thoughtful elegance to the experience.
