To mark the launch of their new sunblock range, La Roche-Posay hosted an exclusive event at the Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk, curated by the creative team at The BLANKET Group. With a focus on bright, fresh aesthetics that aligned with the product’s summery vibe, the event styling featured a refined palette of oranges and whites.
The BLANKET Group approached me to design bespoke calligraphy place cards for the guest table, a detail that was needed to both enhance the visual styling and deliver a personal, luxurious touch.
Taking inspiration from the vibrant florals and menus, I designed a set of flat place cards that featured my modern calligraphy script in a custom orange ink, bringing a bright and contemporary edge to the table. Each card was finished with hand-drawn wave borders, a playful nod to the sun-soaked theme of the event.
The overall style blended fun, colour, and chic minimalism, bringing a "quiet luxury" aesthetic. This bespoke design was crafted to elevate the tablescape with a subtle pop of personality, without distracting from the overall styling.
The event was a great success, and the calligraphy place cards became a memorable detail that guests noticed and admired. They added a layer of personality and warmth to the setting, perfectly complementing the brand's identity and the event's elevated atmosphere.
