Painted Candles for Anthropologie, brand event, Regent Street

Anthropologie hosted a Press & Influencer Gifting Suite at their flagship store on Regent Street, London, inviting media and content creators to experience an interactive festive activation. As part of this immersive brand event, I was commissioned to design and host a bespoke candle painting workshop for guests throughout the day.
Ahead of the event, I developed four exclusive festive candle designs tailored specifically to Anthropologie’s aesthetic. Each design reflected the warmth and nostalgia of Christmas while offering variety to suit individual tastes.
Knowing that many guests would be beginners, I carefully structured the session to feel accessible and calming. Each design was broken down into clear, simple steps so guests could confidently paint their own Anthropologie tapered candles under my guidance. The experience blended creativity, mindfulness and craftsmanship, offering something refreshingly different from traditional live calligraphy at brand events.
The candle painting activation became a highlight of the gifting suite, with guests delighted by the opportunity to create something personal and beautiful. Many shared their finished candles across social media, organically extending the reach of the brand event.

The workshop added a thoughtful, experiential layer to the Anthropologie brand story, reinforcing creativity, individuality and artistry within their Regent Street flagship space. It was a joy to collaborate for a second time, demonstrating how bespoke creative activations can complement calligraphy within luxury brand events.
