Kpler Corporate Summer Party, London – Live Leather Goods Hot Foiling

For Kpler’s annual corporate client Summer Party on Regent Street, London, I was invited to provide a live hot foiling experience for nearly 200 guests.

The activation was designed to combine immersive entertainment with personalised gifting, giving guests the opportunity to have a beautiful leather accessory customised for them while enjoying the event.

Kpler chose passport covers and luggage tags for the activation, with guests able to select either product or have both personalised. To make each gift feel even more individual, guests could also choose between gold or silver foil, as well as selecting either calligraphy or block lettering for their personalisation.

With nearly 200 guests expected, the activation required careful planning to ensure that the personalisation station could operate efficiently while still feeling personal and engaging.

To support the volume of guests, I invited a second calligrapher, Shamima, to work alongside me. I also brought an event assistant who I have specifically trained for live personalisation events. Having someone who understands the way a calligraphy and hot foiling station operates meant they could confidently manage the flow of guests, products and requests throughout the evening.

This additional support made a significant difference to the experience. Guests could make their choices, have their leather goods personalised and collect their finished gifts without the station becoming overwhelming or disrupting the flow of the event.

The choice of foil colour and lettering style also gave guests a genuine sense of involvement. Each passport cover and luggage tag could be personalised according to their individual preferences, making the gifting experience feel considered rather than simply branded.

The hot foiling station ran seamlessly throughout the evening, providing an engaging experience for a high volume of guests while allowing Kpler’s team to step back and enjoy their own event.

Guests were delighted to leave with personalised leather goods that had been created especially for them. The combination of live craftsmanship, choice and practical gifting made the activation both entertaining and memorable.

For an event of this scale, the success of a live personalisation experience depends on more than the finished product. Having the right team and processes in place ensures that guests receive the same level of care throughout the activation, even when hundreds of people are taking part.
