Bouf London Launch Event - Hot Foil Personalisation 

Bouf, the viral Australian haircare brand, launched into the UK market with a high-profile brand event at Williams & Hirst in Soho, London. Working alongside B the Agency, I was invited to provide live personalisation as part of the launch experience.
The initial brief focused on engraving Bouf’s No Knots Comb, designed to offer guests a personalised takeaway during the event.
During the testing process, I identified an opportunity to elevate the activation further. The comb was housed in a striking red leather pouch, a material far better suited to hot foil personalisation than engraving.


I presented both options to the client, demonstrating how hot foiling could create a more refined, luxury finish. The brand selected this approach, allowing guests to choose between gold and silver foil lettering, applied live during the event.
The personalisation station quickly became a focal point of the brand event, drawing in guests and encouraging interaction. Attendees, including high-profile influencers, were captivated by the process and left with bespoke, beautifully finished keepsakes.

Gold foil proved especially popular, adding a premium touch that aligned perfectly with Bouf’s brand positioning. The activation demonstrated how thoughtful calligraphy and material choice can transform a simple product into a memorable luxury experience.
