Personalised Calligraphy for Astley Clarke’s Luxury Advent Calendar Event in London

In September, Astley Clarke, the renowned British fine jewellery brand, hosted an exclusive brand event in London. A festive breakfast with influencers to celebrate the launch of their celestial-inspired Luxury Advent Calendars for Christmas.

Each Advent Calendar was designed as a keepsake box, reflecting the brand’s signature attention to detail and elegant aesthetic. To elevate the experience for guests, Astley Clarke commissioned me to create bespoke calligraphy sleeves, transforming each gift into a personalised piece of art.
I was commissioned to hand-script each guest’s name onto navy Advent Calendar sleeves, written in gold calligraphy to perfectly complement Astley Clarke’s sophisticated branding and packaging. These sleeves were designed to wrap around each calendar, doubling as both personalised place settings and take-home gifts for guests.

As part of my luxury calligraphy services for brand events, every detail was considered and tested before the final execution. Gold ink, while beautiful, can vary greatly in tone and opacity, so I tested over ten different gold inks to find the perfect hue with just the right warmth and metallic finish.

Each name was handwritten in a refined 3mm-high calligraphy script, delicate, consistent, and aligned with the timeless style of Astley Clarke. Behind what appeared to be an effortlessly elegant result was hours of preparation, precision, and craftsmanship to ensure every sleeve looked immaculate.

The final outcome was a cohesive, luxurious presentation that reflected Astley Clarke’s brand identity while adding a truly personal touch to the event experience. Guests loved the bespoke calligraphy detailing, which elevated their Advent Calendars into meaningful keepsakes and generated buzz on social media.

This brand event, hosted in London, highlighted how thoughtful personalisation can elevate a branded experience, enhancing guest connection, amplifying luxury, and leaving a lasting impression.
